Corona measures Leuven Ice Rink
General rules :
- Only athletes and trainers are allowed on and next to the ice rink or in the building
- Parents and other club members are not allowed next to the ice rink, but are allowed up to the skate rental to tie skates.
- Spectator areas and changing rooms are closed
- Clubs should list contact tracing information for all participants for each training.
- Keep 1.5 meters away .
- Follow the instructions of our staff and the guidelines posted.
- Maintain good hand hygiene , and touch only items you need to.
- The number of skaters per public skating turn is limited .
- To ensure that everyone has a chance to skate, the times of the skating sessions have been temporarily adjusted .
- Tickets are only available online .
- Wearing a mouth mask is mandatory in all public areas for +12 years (entrance hall, corridors, shop, toilets and skate rental).
- While skating it is not mandatory to wear a mouth mask . As soon as you leave the ice, a mouth mask is mandatory.
- Always skate in the same direction.
- Do not mix with other bubbles / groups while skating.
- The stands next to the ice are not accessible during the skating turn.
- Rental skates are placed in the bins provided after use so that we can disinfect them.
- The candy and drink vending machines will remain available.
- Don't come to the ice rink if you show any symptoms of disease.
- In case of non-compliance with the measures, access can be refused.
- Keep 1.5 meters away from staff and other customers, with the exception of the persons who are part of your party.
- Follow the instructions of our staff and the guidelines posted.

- Reservations are not possible in the cafeteria.
- Consumption is required.
- A maximum of 4 people can sit at a table (excluding children -12 years). The group that can sit together at a table consists of the members of the same household (persons living under the same roof).
- Wearing a mouth mask is mandatory from the age of 12 unless you are sitting at the table. If this is not possible for medical reasons, you may use a face shield.
- Enter your name, phone number and / or e-mail address on the online registration form . This data is kept for 14 days and will not be used in any other way or passed on to third parties outside the government in the context of COVID-19 control.
- Limit your movements in the cafeteria. Only move to and from your table and the toilets. Children under 12 must also remain at the table.
- Orders at the counter are not allowed.
- Chairs and tables may not be moved .
- Pay as much as possible electronically or contactless.
- Do not come to the cafeteria if you are showing symptoms of illness .
- Please do not use the cafeteria as a changing room .
- Follow the indicated walking directions .
- In case of non-compliance with the measures, access can be refused.
- Private ice is provided for each group.
- Groups gather at 1 of the 2 designated meeting points in the car park.
- All groups enter from the front of the building.
- Changing rooms are provided for each group next to the ice rink to put the skates on and off.
- All used skates are placed in the provided bins before departure.
- All groups go out along the side.
Applicable protocols:
- A maximum of 2 classes are allowed with a separate piece of ice for each class.
- A class consists of a maximum of 30 students.
- Classes gather at 1 of the 2 designated meeting points in the car park.
- All classes enter from the front of the building.
- Changing rooms are provided for each class next to the ice rink to put the skates on and off.
- All used skates are placed in the provided bins before departure.
- Each class stays on its own, closed off area of the ice.
- All groups go out along the side.
Information about school trips
Applicable protocols:
- All trainers are required to wear a face mask while teaching.
- Training is only possible for skaters under the age of 13.
- All measures imposed by the VLSU must be complied with.
This also applies to skaters and trainers who are not affiliated with the VLSU. - There are no changing rooms available.
- Skaters arrive fully dressed.
- All skaters go out from the side within 10 minutes after training.
- All trainers are required to wear a face mask while teaching.
- Patches are only possible for skaters under the age of 13.
- All measures imposed by the VLSU must be complied with.
This also applies to skaters and trainers who are not affiliated with the VLSU - There are no changing rooms available.
- Skaters arrive fully dressed.
- All skaters go out from the side within 10 minutes after training.
- Coaches must also reserve a seat through the reservation system
- All trainers are required to wear a face mask while teaching.
- Training is only possible for players under 12 years old .
- All measures imposed by the RBIHF must be complied with.
This applies. also for clubs, players and coaches who are not affiliated with the RBIHF. - A maximum of 3 groups of maximum 10 players are allowed.
- Each group has 1 trainer. Trainers are not allowed to change groups.
- Each group stays on its own, closed part of the ice with its own trainer.
- In your training schedule, take into account building up and breaking down the separation bars on the ice!
- The groups should never be mixed, and should be the same every workout.
- Groups may not transfer to another trainer.
- Interclub activities are not allowed.
- There are no changing rooms available.
- Players arrive fully dressed, only skates may be put on inside.
- All players go out from the side within 10 minutes after training.
- All trainers are required to wear a face mask while teaching.
- Training is only possible for athletes under 13 years old .
- A maximum of 10 athletes are admitted.
- Interclub activities are not allowed.
- There are no changing rooms available.
- Athletes arrive fully dressed.
- Athletes leave the building within 10 minutes of the end of the workout.
- Parents are not allowed during the training.
- Clubs must follow the protocols of Sport Vlaanderen for organized sports.
- Clubs must follow the guidelines of their respective federations.
- The guidelines of SportVlaanderen and the federations also apply to teams / clubs that are not affiliated to this.
- All trainers are required to wear a face mask while teaching.
- Have an attendance register for each activity.
- There are no changing rooms available.
- Players arrive fully dressed.
- Make sure the participants use the correct entrance and exit.
- If clubs or groups do not comply with these measures, all subsequent ice rentals will be canceled, without cancellation fee and the rental fees will remain due.
